Dozens of cars were reduced to ashes when a fire broke out during auction of unclaimed vehicles here on Wednesday. However, no loss of life was reported in this incident. The blaze erupted suddenly in unclaimed vehicles, mostly scrap cars, in Nazarat near Aziz Bhatti Park at Gulshan-e-Iqbal area. The cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained till filing of this report. Fire fighters reached the scene and tried to douse the blaze. Meanwhile the nearby shanties were evacuated by police.
